No Pachyderms for Jackson
Circus elephants were escorted into the Staples Center on Tuesday morning, just hours before the memorial service for Michael Jackson.
The King of Pop loved animals and famously owned a pet chimp, Bubbles, but the elephants will not take center stage for Jackson.
The animals are a part of the Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus, which will call the Staples Center home from Wednesday, July 8 to Sunday, July 12.
Bubbles the Chimp is living in retirement in Florida.
