Trista Sutter's Delivery Drama!
Former "Bachelorette" Trista Sutter and hubby Ryan welcomed daughter Blakesley Grace on April 3 -- but only after hours of a snowstorm delivery drama! It's like it was made for reality TV!
The reality couple battled a spring snowstorm in Vail, Colorado while traveling to the hospital where Trista gave birth. "I started going into labor, so my friend drove me," Sutter told Life & Style magazine of heading to the hospital. "We were in the middle of a blizzard!"
Police had closed the highway, but Trista wasn't giving up. She continues, "I had to tell the trooper, 'I'm in labor, I need to get through.' I think he knew he had the choice of letting me through or delivering the baby in my car."
Despite the storm, Ryan (who was in another location) made it to the hospital in videotape Blakesley's birth, and to cut the cord. The couple's first daughter joins older brother Max, 20 months.
