Barbara Walters co-created "The View" in 1997, but is the talk queen thinking of abdicating her throne on the TV talk show?
Dismiss this wumor -- it's not twue! "Extra" talked to representatives for Walters, and they told us it's just a rumor, adding, "Ms. Walters intends to continue on ABC News and 'The View' for the foreseeable future."
Walters, 79, currently co-hosts "The View" with Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd.
