Go-Go Girl Gone -- 'Dancing' Boots Belinda
Belinda Carlisle of the '80s band Go-Go's is the first contestant booted off of the eighth season of "Dancing with the Stars."
Carlisle, 50, joined professional partner Jonathan Roberts on the dance floor Tuesday night in a dance-off against Apple's Steve Wozniak and his partner, Karina Smirnoff. Both of the low-scoring teams received a 17 from the judges, but viewer votes saved Wozniak and Smirnoff from getting the axe.
"I had a great time," Belinda said after it was announced she was sent packing. "I learned how to dance and I wish I could have done better for Jonathan, because he's a great teacher."
Jewel, who had been scheduled to be on "DWTS" before suffering leg injuries in rehearsals, came to the ballroom to sing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." Her country husband, Ty Murray, is currently competing on the dance floor.
