Hooray for Bonnie Hunt!
Award-winning actress Bonnie Hunt will be honored with the "True Grit" Humanitarian Award at the John Wayne Cancer Institute Auxiliary's 24th annual Odyssey Ball next month. Previous "True Grit" honorees include Nancy Reagan and Larry King.
Before her career in Hollywood, Bonnie was an oncology nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
"The Bonnie Hunt Show" premiered in September 2008.
