Brad & Angie: Balancing Work and Kids
Superstar Brad Pitt reveals that while his onscreen image is constantly changing -- from a cowboy in "Jesse James" to a geeky gym employee in "Burn After Reading" -- it doesn't compare to the transformation created by fatherhood.
"Having children takes the focus off yourself, which I'm really grateful for. It's a true joy and a profound love," Brad tells the Nottingham Post. "You can make a movie, you can paint a painting. But having kids is the most extraordinary thing I've ever taken on."
Pitt also speaks warmly about his partner and the mother of his kids, Angelina Jolie -- denying reports that the two are having a rocky relationship. "Angie and I are working together every day, I guarantee you that," he says.
The "Changeling" actress recently told reporters that Brad encouraged her not to give up her career, despite being a mother to a large brood. "We had a big discussion about whether I should go back to work at all," Angelina said. "Brad said it was part of me as well, and it would be alright -- so we're trying to balance it out."
