Lara Logan's Beau's Divorce Finalized
CBS foreign affairs correspondent Lara Logan can now legally wed the father of her unborn child, Iraq war contractor Joseph Burkett, now that his divorce from his wife is finalized, reports the NY Post.
Logan -- who has been blasted as a homewrecker by the media -- became pregnant while dating Burkett overseas in Baghdad. Joseph had allegedly geared up for an ugly legal battle with his wife -- but was able to reach a quiet settlement outside of the courtroom.
The 37-year-old blonde has denied claims that she had an extramarital affair with Burkett -- and states that their relationship began only after his marriage was over. Logan also stated in a recent interview that she hoped to tie the knot with Joseph -- even though they are not yet engaged.
