Spears: No Lutfi for Me!
Brit's got her wits about her once more -- and the pop star won't be dragged down by former Svengali Sam Lufti! Although Spears won't seek another restraining order against Sam -- who had been accused by Mama Lynne in court papers of drugging Brit -- she'd prefer he stays away from her shiny new life.
"Britney has made clear to everyone that she does not want to be further harassed or contacted in any way by Osama 'Sam' Lufti," lawyers for the "Gimme More" singer tell AP. Brit is still under conservatorship of dad Jamie -- meaning that a restraining order isn't necessary -- since papa Spears has the last say over who gets to see Britney.
"During the temporary conservatorship, the conservators have the power to ensure that Lutfi will not harm Britney anymore," adds Britney's lawyers. Word is that Brit's father will likely continue in that role, perhaps for the rest of the year.
