Harvey Korman Dies at 81
Comedian Harvey Korman, one of the best second bananas in the business, has passed away at the age of 81. The Emmy-winning actor, best known for his work on "The Carol Burnett Show" and as Hedley Lamarr in Mel Brooks' "Blazing Saddles," died at UCLA Medical Center following complications from an abdominal aortic aneurysm.
Carol Burnett, Korman's longtime friend, was devastated by the news. "She loved Harvey very much," her assistant told the AP.
Korman is survived by his wife and four children.
