Cook's Ill Brother to Attend 'Idol'

David Cook has more than one reason to make his "American Idol" performance on Wednesday a memorable one -- his brother, Adam Cook, who is suffering from brain cancer, will be in the house.
Sources tell People magazine that the Idol's brother has wanted to see David perform for quite some time, but it was feared that flying commercially from Indiana to Los Angeles would upset his medical condition.
Friends and family came together to charter a medical jet for Adam and wife Kendra, plus a hotel room in Los Angeles courtesy of the Board of Directors at Clarian Health in Indianapolis. "The excitement of seeing his spirits lifted so high has been wonderful," Kendra reports to the "Terre Haute News." No matter the outcome on Wednesday night, David Cook's performance will already be a winning one -- at least for his brother.
