Amanda Rocks Simon's World

It's another season of scandals and controversy on "American Idol," as the judges heard of yet another hopeful with a bumpy past -- blonde-streaked rocker Amanda Overmyer -- who last night warbled "I Hate Myself for Loving You" -- which ended up as Simon's favorite performance of the night.
When the clips rolled of the girls' "most embarrassing moments," Amanda did not include news of a DUI in 2006 -- with her mugshot plastered all over the net. After she sang, Simon said, "If I'm being honest... that was fantastic, you nailed that song and it was my favorite performance of the girls' part."
Simon wasn't as enthusiastic about Kady Malloy, the girl who was spared last week when Alaina Whitaker gave her tearful goodbye. Simon said Kady's performance was robotic and his biggest problem was that she was "massively lacking personality." Ouch! Before going onstage, Malloy told Ryan she thought she was going home last week because Alaina was "so good," and she thanked America for keeping her.
Carly Smithson and Brooke White burned it up, while Ramiele Malubay and Kristy Lee Cook got lukewarm praise. Despite the constructive criticism from the panel, Paula took aim at the very vocal audience, which she thought was heckling her throughout the night, calling them the "peanut gallery." She said if Randy's favorites were "dogs," the audience members were "mutts."
Now it's time for you to sound off on who your favorite "dogs" are. Tell "Extra" which two guys and two girls should start packing before tonight's result show!
