Jamie Lynn's 'Zoey 101' Sees Ratings Double
Jamie Lynn Spears' pregnancy announcement has put the future of her hit show "Zoey 101" in peril, but for now, the news is ratings gold.
The season-ending episode of the Nickelodeon show averaged 7.3 million viewers, twice the show's season average. The hourlong episode, "Goodbye Zoey," saw Jamie Lynn's character decide between staying at her seaside school or moving to London. It aired just two weeks after the 16-year-old announced she was expecting a baby with 18-year-old boyfriend Casey Aldridge.
It's not clear what will happen with "Zoey 101," but Jamie Lynn is already prepping for her future. The pregnant starlet was seen carrying a GED book, used to study for a high school equivalency degree, in Louisiana this week with mom Lynne by her side.
