Bradley Cooper Dishes on His Oscars Performance with Lady Gaga
Just weeks before the Oscars, Bradley Cooper attended the Directors Guild Awards, where he opened up about his highly anticipated live performance with Lady Gaga.
Bradley and Gaga will perform their hit song “Shallow” from “A Star Is Born,” which makes him somewhat nervous! He told “Extra” on Saturday, “Yes! It's terrifying — absolutely. I was like, 'Why? I must have some sort of death wish!'"
Cooper recently joined Gaga onstage in Las Vegas, singing the song live for the first time. He said, “It was wonderful.”
The 44-year-old, who directed and starred in the hit movie, is still in awe over the positive reactions the film has gotten. He commented, “Oh, it's incredible, incredible. I was just talking to my friend on the way over here and I thought, 'Would you ever have thought that a movie would hit people the way that it has?' You hope, you try to give something of yourself that's deep and hope that it will connect, but you just never know, so the fact that it has is very gratifying.”
Cooper is hoping to do more directing in the future. He shared, “Oh, yeah! I've never been more fulfilled, so hopefully this is all I'm going to do now.”
