After more than three years of dating, supermodel Kate Upton and World Series victor Justin Verlander have tied the knot, People confirms.
Sources tell People the couple exchanged vows Saturday in an intimate ceremony in Italy.
Days later, Upton posted a wedding pic, snapped by photographer KT Merry, writing, "I feel so lucky that I got to marry my best friend!! @justinverlander Thank you to our family and friends for making this weekend so fun and magical! ❤️❤️❤️."
Two months ago, Upton opened up on the wedding planning, telling "Extra" at a premiere of "The Layover" in Hollywood, “I'm really excited about the engagement and I'm really excited about getting married. It's just the wedding planning sucks.”
Verlander proposed to Upton in 2016, offering a ring he co-designed with Anita Ko. After they confirmed their engagement, Upton told People Now she envisioned a ceremony with an accent on "fun, party, tequila and food." She definitely had the food part covered — the couple is said to have wed in Italy.
The Sports Illustrated cover girl recently told PeopleStyle of Verlander, "Our relationship is my favorite thing about my life right now."
