Over the weekend, actress Jennifer Lawrence faced a mid-air emergency.
E! News reports that Lawrence was on a private plane that was forced to make an emergency landing as the result of engine failure.
Lawrence was flying from Kentucky to New York when one of the engines failed. During the unplanned descent, a second engine failed, but the pilots were able to land the jet safely.
Her rep told the site that she is fine after the scary incident.
The FAA did not confirm Jennifer’s name, but said in a statement to “Extra” on Monday morning, "A Hawker Beechcraft BE40 aircraft landed safely at Buffalo Niagara International Airport in New York at about 1:40 pm on Saturday. The crew diverted to Buffalo when they declared an emergency due to engine-related issues. The flight was heading to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey from Louisville, Kentucky. The FAA will investigate."
