It was a family affair for Ryan Reynolds today, as the actor was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Ryan was accompanied by his beautiful wife Blake Lively as well as their daughter James, 2, and their latest addition to the family, a baby girl born in September whose name has yet to be revealed. This was the first time the whole family has been seen out in public together.
Ryan talked to “Extra’s” Renee Bargh at the event, where he explains, “This is one of the rare occasions when we thought we got to bring the whole clan. I’d regret it in 20 years if I didn’t.”
James was seen hamming it up for the cameras. Ryan revealed, “It’s not the first time she’s snatched a mic out of someone’s hands. When she’s 20, she can happily do whatever she wants. Thirty — I’m gonna up that to 30.”
Hot on the heels of winning a Critics' Choice Award and being nominated for a Golden Globe for “Deadpool,” Ryan mentioned what he is looking forward to the holidays. “It’s just a nice time to be home and unplug… I think I’m gonna be baking for the fam — it’s my turn.”
As for being honored with a star, he said, “It is a very big day. This is gonna be showered with footsteps, among other things, for centuries.”
