President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle celebrated Black History Month at the White House with a special reception, and one guest was particularly excited, yelling, “Heyyy, Michelle!” from the crowd.
The shout-out didn’t faze the president, who responded, "You know it’s Black History Month when someone yells, 'Heyyy, Michelle! Girl, you look so good!’”
It turns out the voice behind the viral video is singer and reality star Traci Braxton, sister of Toni and Tamar Braxton.
Traci stopped by “The Real” and talked about the president’s response. "When he did that, it was like, ‘Okay. You know, we have a president and a first lady that is not ashamed of their mouth whatsoever. If they had a problem with it, they would have said, ‘Now, you know Traci, you was wrong… you should sit down somewhere.’ Now, when they got off from the podium and they greeted us, he said, he did this, I have to do it in his voice, ‘Really? Really? Traci?’"
She added, “When he did that, I was like, ‘He knows my name! He knows my name!'"
