Gobble, Gobble! Brad Pitt Is ‘All Over That Turkey’
Last night, Brad Pitt hit the red carpet solo for the New York City premiere of his new film “The Big Short,” where he chatted to “Extra's” AJ Calloway about his Thanksgiving plans.
Pitt is back home, just in time to celebrate the holidays with wife Angelina Jolie and their kids. He revealed he's not afraid to get into the kitchen, saying, “Yeah, I'll get in there, I'll mess it up a little bit. We got Thanksgiving, man — I'm all over that turkey.” Watch!
Brad, who sported a new haircut, also discussed his secret to looking young, sharing, "Everything in moderation and a lot of love.”
The 51-year-old Oscar winner is producing and starring in “The Big Short” alongside Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale, and Steve Carrell. “I wanted to play a small part in it to help get it to the screen, so I jumped in on the acting side as well.”
The movie focuses on the buildup of the housing and credit bubble, which led to America's recent financial crisis. The film was a passion project for Brad, who said, “It was a really important story to me, I'm still angry by it, that no one was held accountable, this financial crisis, this housing meltdown that so many people got hurt by.”
“The Big Short” was shot in one of Brad's favorite cities. He gushed, “I like any excuse to get back to New Orleans.”
“The Big Short” opens in theaters on December 23.
