David Beckham Wins People Magazine’s Coveted Sexiest Man Alive Title
It's official! David Beckham has been crowned People magazine's 2015 Sexiest Man Alive.
The soccer player and father of four told the magazine, “It's a huge honor,” one he's “very pleased to accept.”
The humble 40-year-old added, “I never feel that I'm an attractive person… I mean I like to wear nice clothes and nice suits and look and feel good, but I don't ever think of myself that way."
Beckham said wife Victoria congratulated him when she heard the news, but he hopes she “feels this way about me all the time anyway.” The kids – he's dad to Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 12, Cruz, 10, and Harper, 4, -- thought it was funny. They said, “'Really?! Sexiest man alive? Really?'"
He added, "Brooklyn was the one who was like, 'Are you sure it's not me that's meant to be there today?'"
