Rachel was photographed getting emotional at the ceremony, and gushed to Renée about the nuptials. “It was amazing, it was honestly the best wedding I’ve ever been to and I suppose I’m biased, but we just danced all night, and everything went off without a hitch. I mean, that just never happens. It was really, really beautiful and I couldn’t have asked for more for her.”
Rachel plays Bradley Cooper’s ex-girlfriend in “Aloha,” while Emma Stone takes on the role of his new love interest. Rachel said of the storyline, “Pretty good as far as love triangles go, I can’t complain!
The actress, who recently cut her long locks, told Renée she loves her new shorter style. “I love it. It’s so much easier, I just get out of bed and go, it’s nice!”
Next up for Rachel is hitting the small screen in HBO’s “True Detective,” playing a Ventura County Sheriff. Rachel raved about the shooting the series. “It was pretty great. I had a great time shooting it. She was a really fun character to play. It was hard to say goodbye — it was the longest I spent with a character, about six months, since I did theater. I’ll miss playing her.”
What can fans expect from the second season? “There is a lot of plot development, and different webs to follow,” Rachel revealed. “I hope people like it, I loved doing it.”
“Aloha” is in theaters starting Friday, May 29. HBO’s “True Detective” premieres June 21 at 9 PM.
