Rihanna Talks New Music, Visiting the White House, and Being Aunt RiRi
“Extra's" Renee Bargh caught up with Rihanna at the MAC AIDS Fund premiere of Andrew Jenks' new documentary, "It's Not Over," where the superstar dished on her new music, her recent trip to the White House, becoming an aunt, and wanting kids of her own one day!
On surprising fans with new music, Rihanna explained, "You never know! I like to be a little spontaneous about things. My fans, they dedicate so much of their time and energy and their lives to supporting the music. You want to respect that."
As for hanging out at the White House, Bargh asked if being a fan of “Scandal” made it even cooler? RiRi smiled, "Definitely! And definitely not even being an American. That was the weirdest part, but it was awesome. I had a blast!"
Rihanna also talked about how her 5-month-old niece is already taking after her auntie, including wearing MAC makeup. She explained, "I already put on some lip gloss. She likes it. You know what she really likes? Selfies! She loves the camera."
Does she want to have her own kids someday? The 26-year-old revealed, "One day… I've got tons of work to do."
