Daniel Radcliffe Leaves Harry Potter Far Behind in ‘Kill Your Darlings’
Actor Daniel Radcliffe continues branching out with his performance as Allen Ginsberg in “Kill Your Darlings.”
The indie film takes a look at the famous poet in his formative years at Columbia University, where he meets fellow student Lucien Carr (Dane DeHaan) and young writers Jack Kerouac (Jack Huston) and William Burroughs (Ben Foster). As they begin to formulate the Beat Generation, the murder of David Kammerer (Michael C. Hall), Carr’s associate, cements it.
ExtraTV.com spoke with stars Radcliffe, DeHaan and Hall about this little-known story that connected these iconic writers.
“Kill Your Darlings” opens in theaters on Wednesday.
