Jennifer Lopez on ‘Idol’ Rumors and New Hamptons Pad

Singer/actress Jennifer Lopez sat down with “Extra’s” Mario Lopez in NYC to chat about appearing on the “American Idol” finale on Thursday. She also opened up about her busy life, including buying a mansion in the Hamptons.

J.Lo would not confirm or deny if she’ll return as a judge on “Idol” next season, but she did say it was great being back on the set for the finale. “It was fun. It was great to see the team there. They were like, ‘We miss you!’ I was like, ‘I miss you, too!’”

For now, Lopez is looking forward to working with Nuvo TV, an English-speaking channel for Latinos. “I'm the chief creative officer, so I'm kind of involved in everything creative about the network. Our agenda is to really portray the modern Latino experience on TV.”

After doing a photo shoot in the Bronx, her childhood hometown, Jennifer is planning on making new memories in a house she recently bought in the Hamptons. “It's always been a dream of mine to have a house where my whole family can spend Christmas. And I always want the kids to be close to Marc, who lives here in New York, so it was a natural thing to happen.”
