'The Tourist' (Dec. 10)

Who: Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie; directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck What: American tourist Frank (Depp) visits Italy to mend a broken heart and meets Elise (Jolie), an extraordinary woman who deliberately crosses his path. Really, the fact it stars Depp and Jolie is good enough.

'The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader' (Dec. 10)

Who: Ben Barnes, Skandar Keynes, Georgie Henley, Will Poulter, Tilda Swinton; directed by Michael Apted What: In the third "Chronicles of Narnia," chapter, Lucy (Henley) and Edmund Pevensie (Keynes) return to Narnia with their cousin Eustace. They meet up with Prince Caspian (Barnes) and board the royal ship, The Dawn Treader. The crew then sets out on a quest to retrieve the seven swords of Aslan and rid Narnia of its evil.

'The Fighter' (Dec. 10)

Who: Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Melissa Leo; directed by David O. Russell What: A look at the early years of boxer "Irish" Mickey Ward (Wahlberg) and his brother (Bale), who helped train Mickey before going Mickey went pro in the mid 1980s.

'The Tempest' (Dec. 10)

Who: Helen Mirren, Alfred Molina, Russell Brand, Djimon Hounsou; directed by Julie Taymor What: In Shakespeare's fantastical thriller, the magician Prospera (Mirren) orchestrates a conspiracy, bringing banishment, sorcery and a shipwreck into the lives of two hapless lovers.

'The Company Men' (Dec. 10)

Who: Ben Affleck, Chris Cooper, Tommy Lee Jones; directed John Wells What: The story centers on three men trying to survive a round of corporate downsizing at a major company — and the impact on their families and communities.

'Black Swan' (Dec. 3)

Who: Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, Vincent Cassel, Barbara Hershey; directed by Darren Aronofsky What: In this psychological thriller, a ballet dancer (Portman) finally gets her big shot at playing the Swan Queen in "Swan Lake." But the stress starts to take its toll on her, as does a young rival (Kunis) vying for the top spot.

'The Warrior's Way' (Dec. 3)

Who: Dong-gun Jang, Kate Bosworth, Geoffrey Rush; directed by Sngmoo Lee What: This stylish actioner follows a warrior-assassin (Jang), who is forced to hide in a small town in the American Badlands after refusing a mission.

'I Love You, Phillip Morris' (Dec. 3)

Who: Jim Carrey, Ewan McGregor, Leslie Mann; directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa What: Incarcerated at the state penitentiary, con artist Steven Russell (Carrey) meets the love of his life: Phillip Morris (McGregor). As a free man, his passion results in a series of improbable cons to bust Phillip form jail and build the perfect life together.
