Goats Fatally Shot on the Property of 'Fixer Upper' Stars Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia Homes
Someone snuck onto Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia Homes property in Waco, Texas, over the weekend and shot two of their goats, reports People magazine.
The goats were in a confined petting area and were unable to escape the attack, which likely took place between Friday night and Saturday morning. Workers found the dead livestock when they arrived to work on June 18.
The property, which features the Magnolia Market and Silos buildings, is often featured in Chip and Jo's HGTV show “Fixer Upper.”
Magnolia public relations director Brock Murphy said in a statement, “We are working closely with the Waco Police Department to bring this person to justice,” adding, “We're saddened and shocked by this senseless crime, and at the same time, so grateful for the outreach and support from our community.”

Sgt. Patrick Swanton of the Waco Texas Police Department called the incident “a senseless, cowardly act,” insisting, “Somebody like that doesn't need to be out on the streets. We're going to do what we can to put them behind bars.”
The perpetrator will face felony charges.
Chip spoke out about the crime on Twitter, calling it a “rough couple of days” and using the hashtag “#RIPGoats.”
