Danielle Brooks’ Upsetting First-Class Experience with Airport Employee — What Happened?

“Orange Is the New Black” actress Danielle Brooks had an unpleasant experience with an airport employee and vented her frustrations on social media.
On Thursday, Brooks, who plays Taystee on “OITNB," tweeted, "I hate when gate agents look at me like I've never flown first class and say 'You're in first class, lucky you!' really tho.” The tweet has since been deleted.
The offensive encounter at the airport may have happened while Brooks was flying from NYC to L.A. for her appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
By the time Brooks taped her appearance with Kimmel, she put the incident behind her and reflected on how her life changed in 13 hours after the Netflix show started streaming in June 2013. Watch!
Brooks is currently juggling filming the fifth season of “Orange Is the New Black” with playing her role in the Broadway show “The Color Purple,” which earned her a Tony nomination this year.
