Jamie Lynn Spears’ Daughter Looks Beyond Happy to Celebrate Valentine’s Day After ATV Accident
Just days after being released from a Louisiana hospital, Jamie Lynn Spears' daughter Maddie is able to smile again!
On Tuesday, Jamie Lynn posted an adorable pic of her 8-year-old holding Valentine's Day candy. She captioned it, “Maddie isn't quite ready to return to school, but her doctors did clear her to bring in her Valentine's Day treats to her class today.”
Jamie Lynn revealed how Maddie felt after seeing her friends again after the nearly fatal accident. Jamie Lynn said, "It made her so happy to see her friends, and be able to give them such cute treats. It was a great moment for us after everything that has happened. We are so thankful to celebrate Valentine's Day with the ones we love, and we don't take a second of it for granted ❤️Happy Valentine's Day❤️."
“Extra” obtained the first photos of Maddie, who was seen holding her mom's hand as she left the hospital. Though she has a large bruise on her neck, Maddie was able to walk on her own.
After her accident, her family gathered in her room at the hospital to pray. A family friend told People magazine, "They sat around her bed, talked to her, held hands and prayed. [Casey] and Jamie Lynn have joint custody, and they've been getting along okay, so it was fine for them to be together. They didn't take turns in her room or anything like that. They all gathered around her because they wanted Maddie to know that they were all there. Nothing was more important than her.”
