Jill Duggar Snaps Pic of Baby Israel’s Dedication Ceremony on First Mother’s Day

The “19 Kids and Counting” star and hubby Derick Dillard introduced their son, Israel David, to their church on Sunday in a dedication service.

The parents shared a photo via Instagram with the caption, "At Israel's dedication this morning we were challenged to raise him to love Jesus,” wrote Jill, adding, "What a special Mother's Day! I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth."

Duggar and Dillard both shared messages for their mothers on their family blog with Jill posting a video saying, "So grateful to God for you as my mother and you're just a godly example of what a mother should be like and I hope to be like you."

Derick shared a photo of his mom, Cathy Dillard, holding baby Israel, and revealed this year was particularly special for his family “because Mother's Day 2014 was almost my last with my mom.”

"This year my mom is celebrating not only Mother's Day, but also her first Mother's Day as a grandmother,” Dillard wrote. “My mom's story of battle and triumph over cancer is nothing short of a miracle, performed by the one true God, our Lord Jesus Christ, through many medical personnel to whom I am eternally grateful."
