Tom Cruise Drops ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Trailer at Comic-Con!
San Diego Comic-Con kicked off with a surprise appearance by Tom Cruise!
The star showed up at the very end of Paramount's “Terminator: Dark Fate” panel in Hall H to introduce the much-anticipated “Top Gun: Maverick” trailer.
He told the crowd, “Thirty-four years ago, I made a movie in San Diego right here,” he said, referring to the original film from 1986. “I actually shot across the street at a restaurant.”

Cruise insisted, “All the flying you'll see in this picture, everything is real.”
