Bobby Brown Clarifies Conflicting Reports on Daughter Bobbi Kristina’s Condition

Bobby Brown's recent announcement at a concert that his daughter is "awake" caused so much commotion that his legal team has issued a press release to clarify Brown's comments on Bobbi Kristina's condition.

“Bobbi Kristina's condition has changed since moving from Emory University Hospital and there has been improvement,” said Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC, legal counsel for Bobby Brown. “Doctors have indicated that she will have a long life. However, Bobbi Kristina is presently embarking on a rehabilitation process and the quality of her life will not be known for years to come.”

Alicia Etheredge-Brown has revealed that her husband Bobby Brown was in “an emotional state” when he performed at the Texas concert on April 18 and shared his excitement about Bobbi Kristina.

“My husband made an attempt to correct the negative comments he must endure on a daily basis from both family and the public regarding his daughter's medical condition,” said Alicia. “He is encouraged by the steps that Bobbi Kristina has made since her hospitalization on January 31, 2015.”

Brown's wife went on to confirm that Bobbi Kristina “has made it out of ICU, opened her eyes, and started a rehabilitation that will be long and hard.”

She continued, “We will hold on to all the blessings God gives us to help her at this time and we look forward to her having a relationship with her unborn sister as our family grows in love and faith.”

She also stated her concern for her husband's pain, and wished he would surround himself with people who “fully support and pray for Bobbi Kristina's recovery and only her recovery.”

“Life is the most precious thing that we all have,” added Alicia.

There have been conflicting reports about Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition since she was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Atlanta home on January 31st. Brown has been by his daughter's bedside since she was brought to the hospital, and most recently moved to a long-term rehab care facility in Atlanta, but little has been revealed about Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition or her life in the treatment center.
