Kyrie Irving Takes on Kehlani Rumors and Sets the Record Straight on Their Relationship
On Wednesday, basketball superstar Kyrie Irving took to Twitter to address the status of his relationship with Kehlani, who attempted suicide earlier this week after rumors swirled she cheated on him.
On Monday, Kehlani's ex, PartyNextDoor, posted a photo of himself holding her hand with the caption, "After all the shenanigans, still got the R&B singer back in my bed.” The Instagram post has since been deleted, but Kehlani received loads of backlash from the photo, since many believed she was still dating Irving.
Irving cleared the air by saying that he and Kehlani were no longer together at the time the photo was posted, but he eventually decided to delete tweets like the one in which he wrote, “It's been hard to see what's been going on and not address the truth. I do not justify the picture or what dude did to try and spark all.”
He added, "Nothing but love and compassion over this way for her and her family. My only focus the Game I love to play every night."

Kehlani also denied the cheating rumors, insisting in a deleted Instagram post, "No one was ever cheated on and I'm not a bad person. Everyone is hurt and everyone is in a place of misunderstanding."
