Blake Shelton Is Oklahoma Superman, Rescues Man from Flood
Superheroes come in all shapes and sizes, but last night one appeared in the shape of country superstar Blake Shelton when he rescued stranded Oklahoman native Roho Hartman from sinking in mud!
Hartman was on his way home from work when he drove “into a river that had been a road,” after Tropical Storm Bill devastated Oklahoma this week by flooding roads.
Roho thought he would be able to make it to the other side of the road. He instead found himself sinking waist deep in water, stuck with his car. Out of nowhere, a face appeared.
Hartman told KFOR News, “The guy said, 'Are you ready?' I thought… that looks like Blake Shelton.”
The country singer and “Voice” judge helped Hartman out, but went above and beyond by driving Roho home to his wife!
Roho Hartman said he's thankful to have been saved by such an unlikely individual, and hopes to pay it forward.
