Blake Lively Reveals Ryan Reynolds’ Alter Ego, Plus: Why She’s Apologizing to Garth Brooks

Monday night, “Extra's” AJ Calloway spoke to Blake Lively at the “Deadpool 2” premiere in NYC, where she was on hand to support husband Ryan Reynolds, the star of the franchise.

Blake, whose nails and dress were themed to the movie, said, “I got my 'Deadpool' heart on. It's all very thematic. I have my 'Deadpool' colors... I was very into Spirit Day at school, you may be able to tell!”

Ryan is known for his humor, but is he as funny at home as he is in his movies? Blake laughed, “He is, he is this funny!... You can read his Twitter and see that his alter ego is 'Deadpool.'”

Referring to the fictional persona, Blake teased, “It's like what Chris Gaines was to Garth Brooks, but better! Sorry, Garth Brooks — big fan!”

When asked about his sense of humor, Ryan said, “I have a little guy in my head that stops me from saying too many incredibly stupid things. Deadpool doesn't.”
