Lindsey Vonn Flashes Unique Emerald Engagement Ring at MTV VMAs
Famed Olympian Lindsey Vonn and hockey player P.K. Subban just made their engagement red-carpet official!
On Tuesday night, “Extra's” special correspondent Megan Ryte caught up with the lovebirds at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards, where Vonn flashed her unique emerald engagement ring.
As for how P.K. chose the unique ring, he said, “It was very difficult for me, 'cause I'm not jewelry type, I don't wear a lot of jewelry.”
“Her favorite color is green, my birth stone is emerald, so I went with the emerald stone. I did give her the opportunity to personalize it,” Subban dished.
Lindsey totally approves of his taste, saying, “It's perfect, it's perfect — he did a great job.”
P.K. admitted, “I was very worried… but she loves it.”
The two are confident about their relationship and not concerned about living their life in the public eye. Lindsey shared, “We just kind of live our lives and we share what we can what we want to, but we never change, our number one priority is being the best we can be.”
P.K. pointed out, “We got engaged a week before we announced it, gave our family and friends time to enjoy it.”
He emphasized, “We're not together for any other reason than we are in love.”
In a recent Vogue interview, Subban revealed that he picked up the ring earlier this month. He explained, “Everything kind of came together on that day. Everyone says the stars aligned — well, it was actually a full moon. I was worried because I knew she would want to be dressed up and not in her pajamas, and it just so happened she had a business meeting, so she was fully dressed up.”

Lindsey dished on their wedding plans, saying, "I just want to enjoy the moment and the engagement. We're not in a big hurry to get married. It kind of depends on his playing schedule, and when we have time to sit down and go through it. I don't want to stress him out because he has a big season coming.”
After news of the engagement broke last week, Lindsey shared a video on Instagram, saying, "He finally popped the question... and I said 'yes.' He's all mine."
