Ozzy Osbourne Speaks Out After Sharon Osbourne Split Rumors
UPDATE: "Extra" has learned that Sharon Osbourne will be returning to "The Talk" today and addressing the rumors.
Just hours before the taping, "The Talk" wrote on Twitter, "@MrsSOsbourne is back today! Hear what she has to say on @TheTalkCBS at 2pm ET/ 1pm PT."
Rocker Ozzy Osbourne is setting the record straight after news broke that he and wife Sharon Osbourne have reportedly split after 33 years of marriage.
Once the rumors started swirling, many speculated that Ozzy may have fallen off the wagon, similar to when they separated in 2013. He shut down the rumors, telling E! News, "I have been sober for three and a quarter years. I have not touched drugs or alcohol in that time. Any reports that I am not sober are completely inaccurate.”
It has been reported that Ozzy has agreed to move out of their house temporarily. On Monday, he was seen walking his dog in Los Angeles. The 67-year-old was still wearing his wedding ring on the outing.
Earlier in the day, Sharon was absent from “The Talk,” with co-host Julie Chen telling the audience, "As we get started, Sharon is not here today. There were many tabloid headlines of her and Ozzy, rumors and speculations that they have split up after nearly 34 years of marriage. Sharon understandably took today off and we are sending all of our love to her and to her family. And we ask that you do the same."
