Kerry Washington Calls Baby Isabelle 'Perfection'
"Scandal" star Kerry Washington may have been solo on the red carpet at the 67th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, but that did not stop her from gushing over daughter Isabelle, 1, with hubby Nnamdi Asomugha.
Washington chatted with "Extra" host Tracey Edmonds and special correspondent, O Magazine creative director Adam Glassman, saying, "She's perfection."
Kerry's Emmys look was perfection: a ripped-from-the-runway, metallic-mesh Marc Jacobs dress. "I heard it was going to be hot… It's mesh, it's nakedness. It's nice and breezy in this dress."
Giving fashion props to the other celebs whose style she says she admires, Kerry said, "I think Claire Danes is so beautiful… I think the same is true of Lady Gaga, celebrities who have a sense of who they are and they aren't afraid to bring it to the carpet."
She also revealed her wardrobe must-have: "I'm from the Bronx, so I'm a sneaker girl. I love some new kicks, whatever is the hot new sneaker."
