Lamar Responds to Khloé's Divorce Petition: No Spousal Support
People magazine reports that Lamar Odom's lawyers have responded to estranged wife Khloé Kardashian's petition for divorce by asking that a judge deny her any spousal support.
If he were to be successful in this request, it would protect his millions from migrating over and joining Khloé's millions, something their pre-nup would probably preclude.
Documents show that the couple can agree on lots of other things, including their reason for separating: "irreconcilable differences."
Khloé filed for divorce in May after calling off her previous petition for divorce last October, when Odom nearly died. After nursing him back to health, she took her plans to divorce him off the back burner.
A source told People at the time of her second filing, "This was always the plan. The divorce has never been officially off. The divorce has never been officially off. Khloé was waiting for the timing to be right."
With little to contest, the divorce seems fairly amicable, and should be final later this year.
