How Bobbi Kristina's BF Nick Gordon Is Doing Today
Nick Gordon's intense sit-down interview-turned-intervention last month with Dr. Phil ended with a trip to rehab.
Now, a source tells People that Bobbi Kristina Brown's longtime boyfriend “is responding well to rehab treatment with no relapses," and that the experience has been a positive one, and added, "The quiet time is good for him. He needed it."
The insider continued, "Nick is a special person with many temptations and needs to be in a place where he can continue to heal and grow. He should stay for a long time – as long as he will allow."
The source hopes that the 25-year-old will move to a halfway house after rehab.
"The best thing for Nick is that he is out of the way, out of the limelight," the source added. "This way he can continue the process to improve himself and move forward in a better life. It is a blessing that he is in rehab."
Gordon was ravaged with grief after Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious in a bathtub on Jan. 31. Nick was further broken up about not being able to visit her in the hospital, after her father Bobby Brown and others asked him to stay away.
