Bill Cosby’s Surprising Celebrity Supporter in Court Today
On Monday morning, Bill Cosby was accompanied to court by his “The Cosby Show” co-star Keshia Knight Pulliam, who played his daughter on the show.
It was the first day of his sexual assault trial, stemming from allegations that he drugged and sexually assaulted former Temple employee Andrea Constand in 2004. He has pleaded not guilty to three counts of aggravated sexual assault in the case. He wrote on Twitter with a pic with Keshia, "Thank you to Cliff and Claire's 4 year old daughter (Rudy) and the Brilliant Spelman Alumnus.”

Along with Keshia, Cosby's spokesman Andrew Wyatt revealed that his co-star Phylicia Rashad is also expected to make an appearance during the trial. Wyatt told People magazine, "They're coming in to hear the truth. Keshia feels the same way. She's not here to proclaim guilt or innocence. She's here to finally hear the truth for herself in the courtroom. She wants people to stop listening to the sensationalism and come hear the truth.”
Aside from Constand, more than 60 other women have come out to accuse Cosby of sexual assault, but he has denied the claims.
