Melissa Rivers Isn’t the Sole Heir to Joan Rivers’ $150 Mil Fortune
New details have been released about Joan Rivers' will, and it turns out the comedian left part of her $150-million fortune to a few others, not just to daughter Melissa.
Here's what we know so far:
- Joan's daughter Melissa, grandson Cooper, and a niece and nephew are named as beneficiaries.
- Melissa will also take ownership of all tangible property, including her mother's $35-million Upper East Side apartment.
- Undisclosed amounts were also left to Rivers' publicist Scott Currie, as well as assistants Sabrina Miller and Jocelyn Pickett, who also took ownership of Joan's four dogs.
- Funds were also left to several charities, including New York's God's Love We Deliver, an organization that delivers meals to people in their homes.
