Kaley Cuoco & Ryan Sweeting's Divorce: There Was a Pre-Nup
Kaley Cuoco protected her reported $30 million fortune by signing a pre-nup one month before her December 2013 wedding.
The pre-nup will determine how much Cuoco will be paying Ryan Sweeting and how their assets will be divided after the divorce.
Cuoco filed for divorce on Friday, citing "irreconcilable differences." The papers reveal the two had been separated since the beginning of September. Despite the separation, she gave no hints of marital problems during her interview on "Watch What Happens: Live" on September 20, when she talked about Ryan's relationship with her ex, "Big Bang Theory" co-star Johnny Galecki.
The couple had been fighting divorce rumors since April. A source recently revealed to People, "The few times Kaley and Ryan were out together, the tension was noticeable. You could tell the honeymoon phase had ended. They both seemed miserable."
