Jenna Dewan Reveals Awkward Trick or Treating Moment with Daughter

Jenna Dewan stepped out solo Saturday at the 2018 Baby2Baby Gala!

The 37-year-old star, looking flawless in a white strapless jumpsuit, spoke to “Extra” just days after being photographed out with her new boyfriend, Broadway star Steve Kazee, 43. Kazee is her first love connection since splitting with husband Channing Tatum, 38.

Asked how everything is going for her, Dewan replied, “Really good. I'm happy — I'm great.”

She told "Extra" she had a great time trick or treating on Halloween with her 5-year-old daughter Everly, even though they had to stop for a potty break! “When your 5-year-old goes, 'Um, I have to go to the bathroom...' I was the girl, like, that went, 'Hi, this is really uncomfortable, but is it okay if my daughter uses your bathroom?'" Dewan remembered. "They were really nice. That's when you are like, 'There are good people in the world.'”

Dewan, a proud supporter of Baby2Baby, said, “It was one of the first nonprofits I became involved in. As a mother, there are certain things that you shouldn't have to be without [while] raising a child... It's already hard having a child — it makes it so much harder without essentials.”

She added of Baby2Baby's scope, "We are having a natural disaster in California, and they are already helping people immediately.” Jenna said she knows many who are affected by the Woolsey blaze. "Kids, parents, and friends of mine that are in school with my daughter are all impacted right now, and we are doing everything we can.”
