'All My Children' Actress Candice Earley Dead at 68
Candice Earley, who starred on “All My Children” for 18 years, has died. She was 68.
According to an obituary, Earley passed away at home, surrounded by family after an 8-year battle with Multiple Systems Atrophy.
The Mayo Clinic describes MSA as a "rare, degenerative neurological disorder affecting your body's involuntary (autonomic) functions, including blood pressure, breathing, bladder function and muscle control.”
In addition to playing Donna on “All My Children,” Earley also starred on Broadway in “Jesus Christ Superstar,” “Grease” and “South Pacific.”
She eventually retired from acting and moved to Arkansas.
Earley is survived by her husband, Robert C. Nolan.
