Nicolas Cage Rushed to Hospital After Freak Accident

Actor Nicolas Cage is taking a break from shooting his new film “#211” after suffering a broken ankle.
According to Deadline, Cage suffered the painful injury in a freak accident on set.
The 53-year-old was rushed to a local hospital in Bulgaria, but opted for further treatment in Los Angeles.
Nicolas' rep confirmed that he is currently recovering in L.A. and hopes to return to the set in two weeks.
In the film, Nicolas plays the role of a police officer trying to stop a bank heist.
