Rachel Roy Allegedly Hacked — Could She Be Revealed as ‘Becky with the Good Hair’?
Fashion designer Rachel Roy, who recently made headlines for possibly being “Becky with the good hair” in Beyoncé's “Sorry,” may have another scandal on her hands.
London's The Sun reports Roy's personal information has been stolen from her computer. A source told the publication, "Rachel has confided to friends about the stolen emails. She has no idea how they've been swiped but is aware of how much harm they can cause.”
The insider added, "From a personal level, she wanted to distance herself from the furor after initially playing up to the link as Jay Z's rumored other woman. She fears the spotlight will be well and truly back on her, Jay Z and Beyoncé if these conversations end up online."
When many speculated that she could be the woman who inspired “Sorry,” she shut down the rumors, writing, “There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumors.”
Jay Z and Roy met in the '90s when she was an intern at his clothing company Rocawear. She went on to marry his friend Damon Dash. They eventually divorced in 2009 after four years of marriage.
