Tina Turner Renounces US Citizenship, Becomes Swiss
Singer Tina Turner has been granted citizenship in Switzerland, and "will therefore also give back her US citizenship," Tina's rep announced Friday, according to the Los Angeles Times.
"I'm very happy in Switzerland and I feel at home here... I cannot imagine a better place to live," the Tennessee native said in Blick, a German newspaper.
The "What's Love Got to Do with It" singer has been living in the Zurich suburb of Kuesnacht, since 1995.
