Kerry Washington Reacts to Hillary Clinton’s Florida Win and Talks About Her Mom’s View on Her Scandalous Sex Scenes
Tuesday was a big day for politics, and one of Hillary Clinton's biggest celeb supporters, Kerry Washington, was thrilled with the results!
While at PaleyFest L.A., the “Scandal” star chatted with “Extra's” Renee Bargh, just as the results for Florida's primary were coming in. Washington shared, “I'm very excited about the win in Florida for Hillary — that's great.”
Washington chatted about keeping her fingers crossed for a female president, dishing on the pro-Hillary commercial in which she just starred, proclaiming, “I'm with Hillary.” She jokingly said, “Let me say this — people know how much I hate to let Tony Goldwyn boss me around when he directs. I'm very poorly behaved... So the fact that I let him direct me in this ad for Hillary Clinton is a testament to how much I love Hillary Clinton.”
Washington loves Hillary and is not a fan of Republican candidate Donald Trump. She recently threw a pie at fake Donald Trump's face at Harvard's Hasty Pudding event. When asked if it was therapeutic, Kerry laughed, “It wasn't enough.”
She reiterated, "But I don't believe in throwing things. I don't condone violence.”
Speaking of condoning things, does the 39-year-old's mom approve of those racy sex scenes on “Scandal”? Kerry said, “It's a very strange thing about my mother; she doesn't mind watching sex scenes on any television show, but one would think with one's own child... but she's just like, 'Good work, Honey.'”
