Chelsea Clinton Defends Barron Trump Against Bullying, Calls Out President Trump
Chelsea Clinton is coming to the defense of President Trump's son Barron after the inauguration.
On Friday, many poked fun at the 10-year-old after seeing his reactions at the inauguration. In response, Chelsea wrote on Twitter, "Barron Trump deserves the chance every child does-to be a kid.”
Despite her comments on Barron, she still took a jab at President Trump's policies. She said, "Standing up for every kid also means opposing @POTUS policies that hurt kids.”
Before the inauguration, Ivanka Trump opened up about her friendship with Chelsea, telling "20/20,” "She's been a friend of mine long before the campaign, of course will be a friend of mine after. I haven't spoken about the specific challenges about this next chapter with her just yet but I intend to.”
Back in the summer, Chelsea emphasized to "Extra's" AJ Calloway, "It has nothing to do with politics. We were friends before this election, we'll be friends after this election.”
