Family Secret Revealed! A Duggar Drops a Bombshell on Instagram
Just because the Duggars are Christians, doesn't mean they're perfect, according to Amy Duggar, 27-year-old niece of Jim Bob and Michele Duggar.
The aspiring country singer took to Instagram to set the record straight about recent rumors she was born out of wedlock.
In the bombshell post, the "19 Kids and Counting" star wrote, “The tabloids are telling the truth, my mom and dad did have me out of wedlock. Just because we are Christians doesn't make us perfect, it just makes us forgiven. Just because I share the Duggar name doesn't mean my life is perfect! God knew my uncle would have a hit show and that somehow I would be apart (sic) of it. He knew my parents story would be told. How amazing is that?! Your testimony is everything.”
In fact, RadarOnline reports that Amy's parents, Deanna Duggar and Terry Jordan, didn't wed until 2006 after several years of dating.
It is unclear if Terry is Amy's biological father, but she certainly considers him to be her dad. She showed him some love in another post, writing, “Happy birthday to my Daddio! Who I love very much!”
