Amber Heard Withdraws Request for Spousal Support
Actress Amber Heard is no longer asking Johnny Depp for temporary spousal support, reports EOnline.com.
Her attorney filed a declaration to retract Amber's initial request for $50,000 per month, ahead of Friday's restraining order hearing.
In court docs, Heard explains that she thought spousal support was a standard request, but has since withdrawn the request because it is being "used against me to distract and divert the public away from the very serious real issue of domestic violence."
She can, however, ask for spousal support at a later date.
Depp's team has denied any wrongdoing on his part.
The news comes one day after police were called to the couple's L.A. apartment.
According to Us Weekly, people from Depp's team showed up at the apartment to retrieve some of his belongings. Amber's lawyer called police to ensure only items from the court order were removed.
Neither star was home at the time.
